Ekene Sport

General Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 11. August 2026.

This is a courtesy translation. The German version is the legally binding one and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

§ 1 Scope

These terms apply to contracts made through the Ekene Sport online shop with consumers and with businesses, unless separate B2B terms have been agreed for business customers.

§ 2 Contracting party

Ekene Sport
Owner: Ekene Ofonze
Im Wiesengrund 1
97253 Eichelsee
Germany

Email: info@ekenesport.de
Phone: +49 151 72930186

§ 3 Formation of contract

The presentation of products does not in principle constitute a binding offer. By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer. The contract is formed in particular by order confirmation or by dispatch of the goods. Input errors can be corrected before the order is submitted.

§ 4 Products and personalisation

The range comprises football jerseys, training shirts, tracksuits, goalkeeper jerseys, sports bags, shorts and socks. Where offered, names, numbers, club crests, custom designs and fully individual team kits are possible.

§ 5 Personalised goods

For individually personalised goods, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded where the statutory conditions are met. The voluntary 30-day return policy also does not apply to personalised products.

§ 6 Prices and payment

The prices and shipping costs shown in the shop and at checkout are decisive. Payments are processed by Stripe. Available methods include credit and debit cards (including Visa, Mastercard and American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Amazon Pay and Klarna, as well as local methods depending on the delivery country, such as iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS and BLIK. Which methods are available in an individual case depends on the order value, the currency and the delivery country, and is shown at checkout before the order is placed bindingly. An invoice is issued for every order and sent as a PDF by email.

§ 7 Delivery

Ekene Sport ships worldwide. Orders are usually dispatched within two business days of receipt of payment. Carrier transit time is additional and typically amounts to:

Germany 1–3 business days; Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Czechia, Poland and France 2–5 business days; the rest of the EU 3–7 business days; countries outside the EU 5–14 business days.

These are estimated periods, not guaranteed delivery dates. The shipping costs and delivery times applicable to a given order are shown at checkout before the order is placed bindingly, and those figures are the ones that apply. Sendcloud is used for shipping fulfilment. For pre-orders, the delivery date stated in each case applies.

§ 8 Retention of title

Goods remain the property of Ekene Sport until payment has been made in full.

§ 9 Withdrawal and returns

The statutory right of withdrawal and the voluntary 30-day return policy are governed by the separate withdrawal policy. Cancelling an order before dispatch is not provided for as a separate process; it is done by declaring withdrawal by email to info@ekenesport.de, quoting the order number. The right of withdrawal may be exercised from the conclusion of the contract onwards, and therefore also before the goods are received; the withdrawal period itself only begins on receipt of the goods.

§ 10 Rights in respect of defects

The statutory rights in respect of defects apply.

§ 11 Liability

Ekene Sport is liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, for intent, for gross negligence and where liability is mandatory by law. In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

§ 12 B2B

Separate B2B conditions and prices may apply to football clubs, companies and other business customers. These are agreed or displayed before the contract is concluded.

§ 13 Promotions

Discount codes, newsletter discounts, Black Friday promotions, team/club discounts, volume discounts, shipping promotions and sale products may be offered subject to the conditions stated in each case.

§ 14 Reviews

Reviews are integrated into the website and may be submitted by verified purchasers in accordance with the shop rules; they are checked manually.

§ 15 Data protection

The Ekene Sport privacy policy applies.

§ 16 Dispute resolution

The former EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is not linked. As a matter of principle, Ekene Sport is neither obliged nor willing to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings unless required to do so by law.

§ 17 Governing law

German law applies, subject to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the consumer's habitual residence. The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply to consumers.

§ 18 Product safety

Ekene Sport acts as the manufacturer of its own products, as these are made to its own designs and specifications. The required manufacturer, product identification and safety information is provided on the relevant product pages and, where necessary, on the product and its packaging.
